Large French Vallauris black ceramic table lamp
Large dome shaped French Vallauris ceramic table lamp with smooth black gloss glaze and two handles to each side. Circa 1950s, Sourced from France.
Stamped 'Aegitna Vallauris Made in France' to base.
In fantastic vintage condition, some slight blemishes to the glaze on the underside of a couple of the handles 1cm wide.
Comes with new, large white silk tapered shade.
PAT tested and rewired.
H63 cm with shade, H44cm without.

AEGITNA was begun in the pottery town of Vallauris in France's Alpes Maritime region in 1920s. Many of the original serveware, ceramics, silver and glass by Aegitna Vallauris were created in the mid-century modern style in france during the 20th century.
